| Womans Club Womans Club Committee contact: Debbie Bromeland Email: ibiubu@wi.rr.com; 262-248-4554 The Lake Como Beach Women’s Club was organized in the fall of 1927 by President Lawrence W. Mammen, as the social committee of the Lake Como Beach Property Owner’s Association. Officers were appointed and by-laws were drawn up, which were approved by the Board of Directors and also by the Women’s Cub. It’s purpose is to provide entertainment, promote social gatherings, get the members acquainted with each other, and work for the welfare of our community at Lake Como Beach. We currently have twenty eight members. We welcome anyone that wishes to participate. We are always looking for new members and new ideas. We have a yearly luncheon in August and have bake sales at the Association functions to raise funds for the club. We host the yearly Halloween party for the kids with games, candy bags and a costume contest with prizes. A large amount of the candy is donated by several individuals. We also make a float for the L.C.B.P.O.A. Fourth of July parade. We host card & bunko at the L.C.B.P.O.A. Clubhouse on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Cake and coffee served at 11:30 am. Card & Bunko is open for anyone who wants to play. Our Women’s Club meetings are also held at the L.C.B.P.O.A. clubhouse on the fourth Tuesday of each month, April through November. We have the play ground out back for the kids to play or if weather is poor there is plenty of room in the clubhouse, so if you have children feel free to bring them along. We invite all to join the Woman’s club. The cost is $10.00 per year and we treat ourselves to two dinners per year, a spring dinner and a Christmas dinner. There is no cost to members for these dinners and the cost for a guest varies depending on where we eat. So, whether you join the Women’s club or just wish to partake in the activities, please come. We would love to meet you! |

| Lake Como Yacht Club: You do not have to be a boat owner to belong to the Lake Como Yacht Club. This is a Social Yacht Club with activities for the whole family. Membership includes your children under the age of 18 years. We promote and encourage boating safety and Safety Classes and other Community Activities. Dues are $10.00 per adult.
